“ Had my birthday celebration with my dad and one of the brothers. Food was delicious so was dessert as well as the good service. They sang happy birthday, and was provided with a birthday cake. Thank you ”
“ I don't see how Mexican food can get better than this. I love the vibe. The food here taste authentic and comforting. The margarita was delicious. Next time I'm ordering the margarita flight. The chicken mole was the best. I literally ate everything on my plate. The dessert flan was delicious and nothing like any flan I've ever had because I tasted cream cheese. It was really heavy though. ”
“ Came here the other day for lunch for a business meeting. Service was good and we were waited on promptly. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and the sugar cane filet. Both were very good although I prefer my soup to not have chunky tomato in it but that's just a personal opinion. I would come back and would love to try some other items in the future. ”
“ This was her first time here and we were not disappointed The ambience of the restaurant is so lovely. I love the decoration and very inviting and just beautiful Our waiter Enrique was super nice and it was great service. There is live music on Tuesday evenings and the musician that was there on Tuesday night was so great. We even stayed a little extra so we can hear him sing more. It really added to the overall experience. But I have to say if you want to have a conversation it is a little loud and hard to have conversations but we managed and liked the music. You could always request to sit further away from the music like on the patio or on the other side of the restaurant. OK, let's get into the food. We ordered the pork belly bites as an appetizer and this was the best thing ever because there's a honey Serano sauce which I could dip anything in and it was amazing! Pork belly was cooked to perfection crunchy and delicious. so good! The presentation of the food was beautiful and very instagram worthy! I ordered the mahi-mahi tacos and I have to say I appreciate that the menu will tell you if it's gluten-free and vegetarian which is great for me so I knew exactly what I was getting. The fish was cooked so well, it was not overcooked the mango slices in there just added such a great combination of flavor. I also ordered a version, jalapeño pineapple, margarita, and that was divine My husband got the steak that came with the avocado jalapeño soup, which it's a cold soup that you have after which I think is a great palette cleanser and he loved it. We really enjoyed our time and I think this is gonna be one of our go to places on date nights. So if you're looking for really good Mexican food date night, this is it!! ”
“ Great food, music, and welcoming presence. Amazing service, wonderful food, and tasty cocktails. ”
“ I can't one thing I didn't like about my dining experience. The food was both tasty and appealing looking. The service for our party of 8 was wonderful! The servers were attentive and even sang Happy Birthday to me. It's an attractive restaurant and I will definitely return. ”
“ Good service & good food! The server was really nice & accommodating about my sleeping infant in his stroller, sat us at a table with space for it and tried not to wake him up. Got the SOL Agave salad w/ chicken and cilantro dressing- very good and perfectly filling! Didn't feel bogged down after. The chicken marinade wasn't my favorite, but the chicken was really tender and juicy. The free tortilla chips with salsa & bean dip are also all great! ”
“ Sol Agave is my new favorite happy hour ! They have happy hour every day! Not everywhere does that. I ordered the happy hour tacos and they had so much meat for little street tacos. Loved that and they tasted great. My boyfriend ordered the carnitas plate and it was a huge piece of carnitas. He loved it as well. Their chips, bean dip, and salsa are amazing. Their chips are fabulous. Light, crunchy, airy. Of course we asked for a second round. The service was fantastic. Food came out fast. The patio is nice. Parking is easy. ”
“ I came here on a Saturday night with my bestie. They sat us outside at an extremely small 2-person table. We barely had room on the table for our plates and drinks. We both ordered the margarita flight which was very good but pretty pricey ($53 for two flights). We also both ordered some appetizers for our meal. We ordered the guacamole trio, the shrimp taquitos, and the sugar cane filet. The guacamole trio was good but small. I had the sugar cane filet and it was delicious. My friend enjoyed the shrimp taquitos. We also had to order the butter cake and it was sooo good! Our server was just ok. She wasn't very friendly, and seemed like she was ready for us to leave our table (I think we were there for 2ish hours). Our bill I believe was around $167-$187 before tip. Overall the food was good and so were the drinks but just a tad bit pricey for what you're getting. ”
“ My first few visits make this a go-to that is always reliable, good value for the menu, courteous service, and delicious food. I also appreciate that you can bring your dog here to sit on the patio with you, though some reviews indicate otherwise. I called before coming to make sure it was allowed, and they said no problem. They will let you fill up on all the chips and salsa you want, so watch out because they are tasty and you will likely eat too many, like I did. That being the case, I ordered only the lobster enchiladas. This plate was more than enough for a big lunch. The enchiladas were elegantly presented topped with a creamy tomatillo sauce, a lightly dressed mix of greens, sliced perfectly ripe avocado, and dabs of sour cream. Tasty cheese and big chunks of lobster inside. If I hadn't eaten all those chips, I might have finished the entire plate. So if you're not too hungry, you can get away with just an appetizer because the dishes here are quite filling. We also had the crab/shrimp taquitos, cleverly done with the crab meat inside and the shrimp tail poking out. Jumbo mexican shrimp stuffed with a creamy dungeness crab filling, wrapped with crispy corn tortilla. Served with roasted pepper aioli and cilantro aioli. I would budget a meal for two to run $70-$90 depending on how much you order, and that's without any alcoholic beverages. But the value is worth it and you will not leave hungry or unsatisfied. ”
